Computer Systems Analyst

Location: NUWC

Full-Time on-site / 40 hrs week 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical assistance, support, and maintenance to Code 15 RDT&E end users and the computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance and compliance to DoD, Navy and NUWC standards. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Professional customer service skills. Experience with Windows OS environments. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Competency in MS Office products and web based applications. Must be able to coordinate and prioritize tasks. Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level including installing and upgrading software and configuring systems and applications. Years of experience required: 5 years Windows based platforms related Years of experience preferred: 7 years Windows and Linux Education: High School (2 yr degree or better preferred) Certifications required: A+, MCP, MCDST Certifications preferred: Would also include Linux+ .
