Electronics Technician (Electrical/Electronics Technician VI)
Location: Middletown, RI (NUWCDIVNPT)
Responsibilities:
Provide Technical support for various ES projects and associated periscope systems for code 34. Position requires a strong RF background and experience with AN/BLQ-10(V), BVS-1 Imaging mast, Cluster Troll, and Cluster Snoop ES system. Required to perform SOVT and PICO testing. Extensive travel will be required. Additional responsibilities include Draft, Validate, and perform ES test procedures. Time will be shared between NUWC and Sea Corp. This position falls within the Imaging/ESM Business Area under David Patridge, reporting to Tim Hausler. Full-Time position (M-F) with flexible hours & opportunity for growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or operational ES experience required. ES Groom Team experience a plus. Position requires proficient use of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS Power Point and National Instruments Lab View operation. Also, must have the ability to work independently with little supervision. Candidates should have excellent communication and writing skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Travel is required
