This position is full-time and falls within the Installation Support Business Area of Bill Goneau reporting directly to Ivan Nazario. Professional, organized and detail-oriented person to coordinate Electronic Warfare ECI installations on Virginia Class naval submarine platforms. Responsibilities will include facilitating schedules, developing strategies for installation planning, validating Bill of Materials and procurement information, communicating with all parties involved in an installation and maintaining clear and organized records during an installation to be used to installation process improvements.
The ideal person will be energetic, organized, and very detail-oriented in support of a very dynamic environment. Some experience interfacing with naval activities such as RMMCO, Fleet Support Activities, Lead Maintenance Activity (LMA) organizations, NAVSEA, and submarine Planning Yards as well as knowledge of Non-Propulsion Electronics Systems for Virginia class hulls is desirable. Must have proficiency in MS Office Suite applications, ability teamwork, and have multi-tasking skills. It is a necessity that the person be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. The ability to read technical drawings (SHIPALT, electrical and mechanical integration and design drawings/sketches) and/or some familiarity with CAD software is a plus. Will be required to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
