Electrical/Electronics Technician

Responsibilities:
Position falls within the Research Engineering Area reporting to Greg Lane. Seeking a versatile, experienced electrical/electronics technician to help develop and design system and subsystem electronics control components for the various launcher projects using our patented impulse technology. Position will entail circuit design, component purchase and assembly, wiring and circuit fabrication, and some technical research. The technician will assist in the preparation of technical specifications/design reports/test reports and plans.
Qualifications:
Requires an Associate’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology with 2-5 years experience. A security clearance will be required, but does not have to be held currently. Will be required to operate test equipment and assist in launcher performance testing. SolidWorks CAD experience desirable. Some travel may be required. “Hands-On” experience in electronic component wiring and assembly is a requirement for this position. Experience in the following areas a plus: “X OrCad (or similar) Tools; “X LabView (or similar)Tools;“X MS Office, including PowerPoint.
