SEA CORP was awarded a $ 23.5 Million contract to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Sensors and Sonar Systems Department.
The work will support systems, interface and network testing at land-based facilities and in operational air, land and at-sea environments for over 140 U.S. Navy programs and projects. The testing will be performed for system engineering life cycle processes to ensure systems work as prescribed and to ensure systems communicate and function as one cohesive unit on and between a variety of operational aircraft, surface ships and submarines.
"We are pleased to extend our technical expertise into this area of support that complements the work we do in other Navy programs. Our professionals, who are very experienced in Navy sensors and sonars, will be able to provide exceptionally high value support to develop and test systems that are delivered to the fleet." said Mike Jones, SEA CORP’s Business Area Manager for Sonar Systems. "This new work for us is similar to the services we have provided to the Navy in other areas for many years. We are glad to provide our support in a vital warfare area that helps enable improvement in the quality of systems that are delivered to our operating forces." he added.
