Systems Engineering Associates Corporation (SEA CORP) of Middletown has just been awarded a five-year, $5.8 million contract from the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) to support the Combat Systems Department of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, Rhode Island. SEA CORP will provide trainer systems support services in the areas of System Engineering and Prototyping, Certification and Regression Testing, Verification and Validation, Software and Hardware Configuration Management, System Administration, System Deployment, and Program Integration.
This award represents new work for SEA CORP and signifies a key feat in the increasingly competitive local business environment. SEA CORP, as the prime contractor, will coordinate services to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center. Mikel, a local small business, along with Predicate Logic, a San Diego based small business, will also provide support for this work as subcontractors.
“We are glad to have the opportunity to support the NUWC submarine trainer systems programs. This new work is a result of the success of our core business areas of systems engineering and test and evaluation of submarine non propulsion electronics systems,” said Dave Cadorette, SEA CORP’s Vice President for Business Development.
