On 30 September 2016, Systems Engineering Associates Corporation (SEA CORP) of Middletown was awarded a $2 Million contract supporting the Combat Systems Department of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport. SEA CORP will provide technical engineering services and life-cycle maintenance of the Ohio Class Submarine Data Processing System (DPS) shipboard and non-shipboard system, and related components.
Efforts under this contract will include training, preventative and emergency maintenance to equipment, laboratory layout planning and implementation, design concepts and engineering proposals, development, integration, installation, and test and evaluation planning, future alteration planning, and conduct of various analyses and studies of engineering requirements for hardware and software.
