On 13 April 2018, Systems Engineering Associates Corporation (SEA CORP) of Middletown was awarded a $29.6 Million, five-year contract to provide engineering and technical services to the Electromagnetic Systems Department of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport. SEA CORP previously provided these services under a three-year contract, which commenced in 2014.
Services performed under this contract will include in-service maintenance and operational support, engineering services for hardware development and platform integration, software development, fabrication, assembly, and integration, test and evaluation, integrated logistics support, and configuration management in support of special augmentation systems deployed on U.S. submarines and other platforms such as unmanned vehicles. SEA CORP and its team of subcontractors will continue to provide these services, along with material and travel in support of various special projects and programs.
