SEACORP of Middletown, RI Awarded Phase I Navy Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Contract for RF Spectrum Patterns of Life

On April 4th, SEACORP, LLC (SEACORP) Middletown, RI was selected for a Phase I contract supporting the Navy under the Federal Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program. This Phase I effort will give SEACORP the opportunity to develop innovative solutions for improvements to the Electromagnetic Operating Environment (EMOE), specifically through the use of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML) algorithms.

The SBIR program is a three-phase program that offers incentives to businesses of less than 500 employees to allow them to capitalize on their innovative research. The purpose of Phase I is to determine the technical merit and feasibility of the proposed concept. Phase II further explores the scientific merit and commercialization potential of the concept while Phase III focuses on transition to targeted systems and additional commercialized application.
